At the Cathedral Basilica, we do not seek to merely prepare people to receive holy Sacraments, we are compelled to engage every person with a desire to enrich their understanding of what it means to be a part of the universal Catholic Church.

The Catholic Church was founded by Jesus Christ as the compass which guides us to Him through our regular receiving of the Holy Eucharist as a communal, Eucharistic people.

After Mass Program

Beginning the weekend of September 15-16 concluding the weekend of November 17-18, the ‘After Mass’ program is held after the conclusion of the 4:30 p.m. Mass on Saturday and the 10:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. Mass on Sunday.  It begins within 10 minutes of the conclusion of the Mass and is held in the Cathedral Room (newly renovated church basement).  The topics for this “drop-in” opportunity covers the seven deadly vices and the seven lively virtues presented by Bishop Robert Barron. Find out more information below.

Sacramental Prep & Religious Education

The Cathedral offers sacramental prep for First Communion & Confirmation in accordance with the Restored Order of the Archdiocese of Denver. Religious Education is also available through the Cathedral for children in Preschool through High School.
