Bosetti Sunday Concert: March 19
An award-winning performer on both hammered dulcimer and autoharp (1997 National Hammered Dulcimer Champion, 1994 National Autoharp Champion, and 1995/2003/2010 International Autoharp Champion, 1995/2010/2015 Mountain Laurel Autoharp Champion), Lucille Reilly graduated from Westminster Choir College, with further studies as a Melodious Accord Composers Fellow (2002, 2003) and Song Leading Fellow (2005). A private instructor who teaches at home, in group settings and via webcam around the world, Lucille strives to teach her students how to play well with resonating sound, using a body-conscious approach to music making. Lucille has performed at The Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York City; The Academy of Music, Philadelphia; the Philadelphia Folk Festival; Longwood Gardens, Kennett Square, Pennsylvania; Buell Theater, Denver Center for the Performing Arts; Sore Fingers Summer School, Kingham, England; City Stages, Birmingham, Alabama; Ozark Folk Center, Mountain View, Arkansas; St. John’s Cathedral, Denver (where she served as Music Associate 1999-2002); Old Faithful Inn, Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming; the Arizona Folklore Preserve, and on numerous concert series.
